These terms are the agreement between you and Sohlara. We have kept them as clear as we can. The most important thing to understand up front is what Sohlara is, and what it is not, so please read section 04 carefully.
By creating an account or using Sohlara, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you are using Sohlara on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
Sohlara is for adults aged 18 and over. By using it, you confirm you are 18 or older and that the information you give us is accurate. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account.
You need an account to use most of Sohlara. Keep your password confidential, and let us know promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account. You can close your account at any time.
Sohlara is a wellbeing service. It is not medical care, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not an emergency service. Your burnout score is a wellbeing indicator, not a clinical diagnosis.
Sohlara does not replace professional medical or psychological care. If you are in crisis or in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or a crisis helpline right away. For more detail, please read Wellness, not medical.
You can cancel at any time from your account, with no cancellation fee. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then does not renew.
Except where the law gives you a right to a refund, payments are non-refundable. Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal, we honour it in line with applicable law.
On plans that include them, therapy and nutrition sessions are provided by independent, licensed professionals. Your clinical relationship for those sessions is with the professional, who is responsible for the care they provide within their licence and scope of practice. Additional terms and consents may apply to those sessions.
Please use Sohlara respectfully and lawfully. You agree not to:
Sohlara, including its content, design and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own recovery.
Anything you submit remains yours. By submitting it, you give us the permission we need to operate the service for you, such as generating your plan and, where relevant, sharing it with your matched professional.
Sohlara is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to make it helpful and reliable, we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every individual situation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sohlara is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes that depend on factors outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Where our liability is limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update these terms or the service from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached. You may stop using Sohlara at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction], and disputes will be handled by the courts of [jurisdiction], without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
